Our Philosophy
The name ARCC Neuropsychology reflects the increasing focus of the practice and our goal of Building the Bridge Between Psychology and Medicine.
The foundation of ARCC Neuropsychology began over 30 years ago. As we continue to grow, we develop various areas of service to our patients as well. We work with patients in our Lombard office and at our Lakeview Office. In addition, our doctors are on staff at eight area hospitals and over 15 area Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Independent Living facilities. Our clinical psychologists focus on areas including ADHD, the Autism/Asperger’s Spectrum, learning disorders, neurodevelopmental concerns, dementia, Alzheimer’s, depression, anxiety, brain fog, Covid-19 related confusion/memory loss, and many other concerns.
What is Neuropsychology?
Neuropsychology is the study of how the brain and nervous system influence thoughts, emotions, and behavior. By combining neurological insights with psychological assessment, we gain a deeper understanding of cognitive and emotional functioning. Through neuropsychological testing, we can provide a clear diagnosis, assess its progression and severity, and offer personalized recommendations. Our goal is to empower patients and their families with the knowledge and strategies they need to adapt, cope, and thrive.
